Our hot water cornbread is best eaten when just cooked. Therefore, it is best to cook just what you plan to eat right away.

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT (approx. 2 ½ inches in size):

1 piece - 1/8 cup Honey Girl Hot Water Cornbread Mix + 1/8 cup hot water

2 pieces - ¼ cup Honey Girl Hot Water Cornbread Mix + ¼ cup hot water

3 pieces - 3/8 cup (6 tablespoons) Honey Girl Hot Water Cornbread Mix + 3/8 (6 tablespoons) cup hot water

4 pieces - ½ cup Honey Girl Hot Water Cornbread Mix + ½ cup hot water

6 pieces - 1 pkg. (5.28 oz. ) Honey Girl Hot Water Cornbread Mix + 1 cup hot water

You can also shape your cornbread pieces any way you want to and make them as big or small as you want to! If you make your pieces smaller than 2 ½ inches, your yield number will be greater.

If you have more prepared dough than you desire to cook at the time, you can shape the dough and freeze the individual pieces before placing in a freezer bag or container. Just completely thaw the pieces before cooking.
